About Us

Claire (Yes, there really is a Claire here!) arrived in the beautiful Estes Valley in 1980.  She hails from the great state of Nebraska, where she had previously been a high school teacher.

Claire began working in restaurants here in Estes with some wonderful people, and was eventually ready to make a run at it herself!

Claire’s first location was in the Courtyard Shops, then in 1991 built the current restaurant.

With the addition of barbecue, Claire has been able to expand her offerings with Angus Smoked Prime Rib, Baby Back Ribs and Beef Ribs. Claire loves the wonderful food she is able to offer, and her expectation is that everyone who comes into the restaurant that bears her name will be well taken care of in a warm and friendly environment.
